Why did you choose this location?
I chose the Gaslamp Quarter because I really love photographing downtown at night. The Gaslamp sign is very classic and a great landmark. There's a lot of energy downtown and I think it's pleasant to take in post-rowdiness.
What will you do with the $5,000 grand prize?
I would buy a new flash for my Canon, take my parents out to dinner, buy a plane ticket to Guatemala and of course a round of Hansen's Natural Soda for my family and friends who voted for me.
